To represent the area and community.

Vision

​To promote good design – design that works with what we have, what we want, and what we need, while respecting the look, feel and heritage of the area.

We Do This By

1. Raising Awareness and Shaping Our Town
   Engaging with residents, businesses and others to raise awareness and gain support in shaping proposals that affect us.
2. Working Towards Best-Interests
   Supporting local residents and businesses by scrutinizing applications and lobbying for change where change is in our communities’ best interests.
3. Future Legacy
   Pushing for best-in-class urban design that will provide a future legacy.
4. Promoting Balanced Mixed-Use and Better Services
   Promoting well balanced mixed-use development, to improve local services, workspaces and leisure facilities.
5. Space for the Community
   Engaging with those responsible for the public realm and green spaces so that they are better able to understand and represent our needs and priorities.
6. Promote Good Infrastructure
   Engaging with BCP to promote greater connection within the town, green infrastructure and improved walking routes.
7. Championing Hamworthy
   Championing Hamworthy as an area of importance.
8. Environment
   ​Recognising the threat of climate change and encouraging all stakeholders to act responsibly.

The Poole Quays Forum community-led plan, which aims to guide the future development, regeneration and conservation of our area. It contains a vision, aims, objectives and planning policies for improving the area.
